Hong Kong to Futian… best way + payments?

vCurrently in Hong Kong (Causeway Bay) and thinking of doing a last-minute trip over to Futian.

Trying to figure out the easiest way to get there. Is the high-speed train from West Kowloon the best option? And is it better to book in advance or just buy tickets at the station?

Also a bit unsure about payments. I’ve been using Octopus here, but for Futian can I just use Alipay with a linked card, or is cash still fine?

Any tips on what’s actually worth doing there would be great too, mainly going for shopping and maybe some beauty stuff.
