I recently stayed at a Homewood Suites property and noticed that I was only credited half of the usual Hilton Honors points.
I contacted support via chat and was told this is a new policy and that Homewood Suites now aligns with Home2 Suites and Tru in terms of reduced points earning.
This change seems like a significant devaluation, and I’m surprised there hasn’t been clearer communication from Hilton about it. It may also influence future booking decisions, since it reduces the value of staying at these brands compared to other Hilton properties.
Has anyone else noticed this change or received official confirmation about it?
