Ever since they rebranded it to Delta One instead of “First,” the pricing feels way less friendly.
I remember the $499 offers too. Those were solid for that route, especially westbound. Now it seems like they’re anchoring everything higher because it’s marketed as full Delta One with Sky Club, bedding, the whole thing.
109k miles one way is steep. At that point you’re almost in long haul saver territory on some routes.
From what I’ve seen, cash offers can still dip, but it’s way less predictable than before. If the cabin is wide open close to departure, sometimes it softens. If loads look strong, it just sits high.
Feels like one of those routes where if you really want the bed, you just have to accept the premium now.
