Just crossed 550,000 Tier Points after a long haul plus short haul combo, which puts me into Gold For Life territory.
To BA’s credit, the app updated. But that’s it. No email. No thank you. No acknowledgment of decades of flying with them.
I remember when I first hit Gold they sent a proper welcome pack with luggage tags and a printed note. Maybe something is coming in the mail, but I’m not holding my breath.
Feels a bit anticlimactic for a lifetime milestone.
