Just saw the new Hilton Honors tier changes and wow, lots is shifting. Here are the big points:
Status will be based on nights / stays / spend only (tier points are retiring)
Silver: 10 nights / 4 stays / $2.5K spend
Gold: 25 nights / 15 stays / $6K spend
Diamond: 50 nights / 25 stays / $11.5K spend
Brand-new “Diamond Reserve” tier: 80 nights / 40 stays / $18K spend
Perks for Diamond Reserve: 120% points bonus, guaranteed 4pm checkout, upgrade rewards, access to “premium clubs”
Rollover nights are gone after 2025
Changes start Jan 1, 2026
As someone who uses Hilton a lot, I’m excited about the extra perks for top tiers but also a bit frustrated that the thresholds are going up. If you’re chasing Diamond or beyond, you’ll really need to step it up.
