My grandmother keeps running into the same issue over and over. Her Air France reservations have been “intervened by a third party” who contacted her and tried to get her to pay to “maintain” the booking.
What’s really concerning is that now she says every time she tries to call Air France, the call somehow gets routed back to the scammers. She’s already had to cancel her credit card twice because of this. She also previously received a notice saying her information had been exposed in a data breach.
At this point I’m less worried about one booking and more worried that her account or contact info is fully compromised. Does anyone know the best way to get in direct, verified contact with Air France to lock this down? Official phone numbers, escalation channels, or anything that actually works would be hugely appreciated.
