Stopped by Deep Eddy Cabaret this week, and I can see why it made The Journal’s list of the 50 best dive bars in America. Between the neon, jukebox, and pool tables, it’s got that unpretentious Austin soul. What really caught my eye though was that three of our own Deep Eddy, Donn’s Depot, and The Cloak Room were honored. Even Charli XCX dropped by Donn’s!
I’ve been to all three, but The Cloak Room’s moody basement vibe near the Capitol always feels like a political secret. Which is your favorite? Or do you have a hidden gem dive in Texas that should’ve made the cut? I’m all ears
