Sydney got socked with some serious fog the other morning, and it didn’t go unnoticed. Flights were delayed across the board Jetstar, Qantas, and Virgin all got hit. Winter mornings in Sydney are kind of notorious for this, but when it happens, it still creates a mess. Visibility was almost nothing at one point.
It sounds like delays started clearing by mid-morning, but if you were on an early run, chances are you were stuck at the gate. Just a reminder that even the best airport ops can’t outsmart weather. Anyone else caught up in it? Or do you just build fog delays into your plan this time of year?
