Heathrow hit by freak accident. Saudia jet gets pierced

This one’s wild. A catering lorry somehow slammed into a Saudia 787 at Heathrow, puncturing the fuselage. No passengers were onboard, thank goodness, but still major delays and aircraft damage aren’t what you want to hear when you’re gearing up for a long-haul. Makes you wonder how something like this slips through the cracks at one of the world’s busiest airports. I’ve had plenty of weird airport moments, but this is up there. Between this and recent tarmac incidents at other hubs, maybe it’s time airports take ground ops safety more seriously. Anyone flying through LHR this week feel the ripple effects?\u200bSaudi Arabian Airlines Boeing 787
