Flew CLT to MIA last night and on approach the captain did the usual descent announcement, then signed off with “thank you for defying gravity with us today.”
Caught me off guard in a good way. Thought it was awesome and honestly kind of refreshing. Never heard a captain say that before.
Anyone else heard this one or other memorable sign offs from pilots?
