Hazy Skies Return: Toxic Air Alert Across New York Due to Canadian Wildfires

Just a heads-up to anyone in New York or planning to travel through there’s a major air quality alert in place due to smoke drifting down from Canadian wildfires. The entire state, including the Hudson Valley, NYC metro, Adirondacks, and Western NY, is under advisory. It's being labeled Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups, and you can literally smell the smoke settling close to the ground.

I was out early this morning near Poughkeepsie and noticed the haze immediately it’s got that distinct campfire smell. Anyone else feeling it in their area? Definitely limiting my outdoor plans for the week. Forecast says this could last through Thursday. Stay safe and mask up if you're sensitive!
