We do a long-haul trip to Thailand every year. Used to always fly Qatar with zero issues, but the timings worked better with Etihad the last two years… and honestly every single flight has had something wrong.
Across 8 flights, someone in our group always had a busted screen. On about half the flights the crew looked miserable. Meals were stuck to the lids, the little pizza snacks turned to mush, couldn’t get a hot drink on two flights, and one flight had toilets out of order. Just felt off every time.
Not sure if we just hit a bad streak or if Etihad isn’t what it used to be. Maybe I’m expecting too much after flying Ryanair everywhere else lol.
