Over the past few years, I’ve regularly booked one-way transatlantic business class awards between the US and Europe for around ~78K miles when booking roughly 360 days in advance.
Recently, I haven’t been able to find anything in that range. Most of the available business class awards I’m seeing now are at least double that amount.
I understand that pricing can fluctuate due to demand, fuel costs, and broader economic conditions, but I’m trying to understand whether this is a permanent shift or just temporary availability changes.
Has anyone else noticed similar increases in award pricing with Air France-KLM / Flying Blue, or are there still occasional lower-mileage deals available if you search carefully or adjust timing and routes?
