Wrapping up a really solid stay at the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay. Probably not a hotel I’d pick unless I was doing Disney, but the way they handled elite recognition was genuinely impressive.
They had a dedicated Platinum and above check in lounge with mimosas, and actually walked through member benefits using a printed sheet. No guessing, no awkward “do I get this or not?” conversations.
It’s an MVC property so I didn’t expect much flexibility on late checkout, but they still acknowledged the benefit and did what they could. If more hotels were this clear and proactive, there’d be a lot fewer complaints on here.
