Stayed at a Hampton last night and around 7 pm I start hearing a keyboard and singing through the connecting door. Called the front desk and they said it was a church service and should wrap in an hour. Later got a text saying it would actually go until 9 and they would ask them to turn it down. Nothing changed.
Next morning the assistant manager called. She apologized, said that room should never have been given out, thanked me for being Gold, and offered either a discount or points. I said points. She offered 5000. That is basically ten bucks.
Told her that was pretty insulting. Honestly if they had offered 20000 I would have said fine, but 5000 felt pointless.
