Hampton Inn stay went downhill fast

Checked into a Hampton Inn for 2 nights first room’s A/C didn’t work, and the front desk clerk didn’t want to move us because we’d “touched the bed.” She finally switched us, but the new room wasn’t even clean.


Talked to the manager next morning, got the usual apology and “we’ll talk to the clerk.” Still feel brushed off. Anyone ever get a real response from Hilton on stuff like this?
