Boarding a Delta flight out of ATL, I had 2B and preordered a Shake Shack burger.
Get on and a guy is sitting there. Says “is this your seat? can we swap so I can sit with my wife?” 2C was open so I didn’t care.
Then meal service starts.
FA goes to him: “Mr [my name], thanks for being Platinum, I see you ordered the Shake Shack burger”
And this guy just goes “yes that’s right” like nothing.
I tell her we switched seats and she immediately goes back and shuts it down. Told him he didn’t preorder and asked what he actually wanted.
Honestly still thinking about the confidence it takes to try and steal someone’s burger like that.
