Just read this and honestly had to double check it wasn’t satire.
A passenger got off a cruise in Florida and was stopped by CBP for possible child porn. Turns out it wasn’t that, but instead videos of adults doing sexual stuff with animals. On his phone. Fifteen counts. $300k bond.
Apparently he said he had them for “shock value” to show his buddies. I don’t even know what to say to that. Who is showing that to anyone? On a cruise??
Also the sheriff’s writeup is wild. Half press release, half roast.
I know ports do checks sometimes, but this is a reminder that your phone is absolutely fair game at customs and cruise terminals. And also that some people are just deeply messed up.
