UA1536, Newark to Denver. I’m in Comfort Plus bulkhead when a guy boards last with a 90-lb dog and says, “Hope you’re dog people!” Dog sprawls across my feet and the window passenger’s, blocks the aisle a few times, and the crew doesn’t seem to care.
As we’re landing, the guy laughs and says, “He’s not a service animal, this is just how I get him between New York and my mountain house.” Unreal.
I fly 150k miles a year, so I didn’t make a scene, but honestly… this fake-service-animal thing has gotten out of hand.
