New host here, and this one was rough. Guests called me first thing in the morning saying my flat was “freezing.” It has floor heating, so I sent them the thermostat manual and even did a video call but they kept pressing random buttons and made it worse.
I went over, checked everything, set it to 22°C, and recorded proof it was working. A few hours later they called again, still yelling that it was cold. Floor heating takes time, but they didn’t want to hear it.
I’ve sent all proof to Airbnb and haven’t heard back from the guests since. Part of me wants to check in again, but honestly after how aggressive they were, I’m not sure it’s worth it. What would you do?
