Guernsey sees record-breaking French visitor surge

This is wild, 750 people came in from St Malo in a single day? That’s apparently double the previous record, and foot traffic from France is up nearly 200% compared to last year. Brittany Ferries must be doing cartwheels right now.

I like how Guernsey actually prepped for it, too. French signage, live music, maps... someone clearly had their act together. I wonder how the locals feel about this wave, though. Anyone over there seeing the impact yet? Good vibes or starting to feel crowded?BBC A blue Welcome to Guernsey sign by Guernsey's harbour. It has baskets of flowers beneath it.
