Honestly, the fact that so many of these top-rated spots are long-time family-owned joints or charming local favorites makes me love this area even more. Barbarie's still holding it down in Danbury, and Notch8 in Bethel sounds like the kind of place you stumble into and accidentally stay for hours.
Also, shoutout to La Piccolina, anyone else swear by their burrata? I haven’t been to Luc’s Cafe in Ridgefield yet, but now I’m curious: is it actually as romantic as people say, or just Ridgefield hype?
