I had an excellent flight experience today flying from Nashville to San Francisco for work. I upgraded to First Class a few days before departure when I saw the price was only $186.
The flight departed on time without any delays, and the aircraft had the newer United First seating instead of the older configuration. The flight attendant service was very attentive and friendly throughout the journey.
Despite feeling slightly hungover, I enjoyed a glass of champagne and a meal of Peruvian-style chicken with beans and rice, which was surprisingly good and possibly one of the best in-flight meals I have had.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the value and quality of the upgrade experience for the price paid.
