Got upgraded to D1

Was flying back to ATL from LHR. We were seated at the gate when the delta app showed we'd been upgraded from our premium select seats to D1 & the gate agent called up our names to get our passes reissued. It was an unexpected surprise and my mum's first time in business class (I'm silver medallion and my mum has no status) so this was a nice treat to end our trip.
