Flew PDX to SNA last month and my window seat in first was kinda broken, the backrest was tilted weird and wouldn’t stay upright.
Mentioned it to the FA and they had maintenance take a look. Turned out the whole seat needed fixing later, so they just moved me to the aisle next to it.
Ended up with both seats empty next to each other for the flight, which was a nice surprise.
Props to Alaska for handling it quickly without delaying anything.
