This feels pretty rough honestly.
Guy went with his brother on Eid, tried to enter Dubai Mall and got stopped because they weren’t considered a “family group”. Ended up just leaving, and it left a bad impression on his brother.
From what people were saying, it seems like this happens during really busy holidays where they try to control crowds by limiting groups of men. Still… being turned away like that doesn’t feel great at all.
Also sounds like it’s not applied evenly, which is probably why it feels worse.
I get crowd control, but situations like this are always going to come across as unfair to the people affected.
