Got Polaris lounge access in Chicago without flying Polaris?!

I was honestly surprised they let me into the Polaris lounge in Chicago even though I wasn’t flying Polaris in or out. Didn’t expect that at all. Side note my itinerary had eight flights total on this trip, which is just wild. Longest connection chain I’ve ever done.
