Got oneworld Ruby perks before my first Qatar flight

I always flew with another alliance, but decided to start fresh with Qatar. No status match from my old programs, so I used my Accor ALL Gold card to get Qatar Silver.

Everyone says the status match only activates after your first flight, but turns out it kicks in when your ticket is issued. I asked the ground staff to reprint my boarding pass, and boom perks showed up.

So yep, you can get oneworld Ruby benefits before even boarding your first QR flight!
