As a Diamond, I’ve had a few handwritten notes left at my seat over the years. Always a nice touch and I know the FAs don’t have to do it.
This one was different. On final approach, the purser came by and personally handed it to me. That’s a whole other level of effort.
Some people might say he was fishing for a compliment, but honestly, good. He got one from me. I sent feedback in and made sure it went in his file.
Delta has plenty of flaws, but when you run into crew members like this, it really does stand out. Garrett genuinely cared and it showed.
