Just got back from Crans-Montana, and if you're into golf and luxury stays, Guarda Golf Hotel is an absolute gem. Nestled in the Swiss Alps, this boutique spot is surrounded by six top-tier golf courses all within a half-hour drive. The view from the hotel alone makes it worth the trip, but having the Severiano Ballesteros course just two minutes away really sealed the deal for me.
What’s cool is that even in winter, they keep the golf vibes alive with indoor chipping nets. The rooms feel like cozy chalets and the staff goes above and beyond, even helping book tee times and transfers. Rates start high around $844/night, but for serious golfers or anyone wanting a peaceful, scenic escape, it's worth every franc. Anyone else played Crans-Montana or stayed here?
