Weird one from a transatlantic flight yesterday. The person sitting next to me had an Air France iPad that looked identical to what the crew uses. Same Air France wallpaper and everything.
At one point she opened an app showing our exact flight and a roster of passengers, including stuff like who had SkyPriority. Basically looked like a flight manifest.
My guess is she was an off-duty FA, but it still felt odd that she’d have access to passenger info for a flight she wasn’t working. Maybe there’s some standby or staff travel setup I’m not aware of.
Anyone know how common this is or what the explanation usually is?
