Fully flexible ticket but “too many changes” and now they block it?

That sounds insanely frustrating.


If it’s a full fare flexible ticket, the whole point is flexibility. Putting some hidden cap like 3 plus changes and then locking you out of self service defeats the purpose.


I’ve heard of systems recalculating fare differences each time, but not flat out removing the ability to change online. Especially in 2026. Most airlines just reprice automatically and move on.


What makes it worse is not even being able to see options without calling and waiting for back end to manually check every date. That turns a flexible ticket into a headache.


Feels more like an IT limitation than a policy they’d proudly advertise.


Anyone else run into this with TK specifically?
