I have to give Finnair some credit here, getting an entire widebody fleet retrofitted in just over two years is no small feat. That’s a better pace than some airlines even attempt, let alone pull off. I flew the new business class once and while the no-recline concept is definitely not for everyone, it worked fine for lounging and felt spacious. But yeah, the lack of recline takes some getting used to, and the "memory foam" pillow vanishing act feels like classic soft product downgrading.
I’m curious, has anyone tried the new premium economy on a longer haul yet? It looks good on paper, but wondering how it holds up for 10+ hours in practice.
