Frontier wants $800 to change flights ahead of a winter storm. Unreal.

Just need to vent. Booked two roundtrip tickets months ago for about $260 total. We’re supposed to fly this Sunday and it’s almost guaranteed the winter storm is going to mess things up.

Tried to be proactive and move to Saturday since there are still open seats. Frontier says sure, but only if we pay an $800 fare difference. Eight. Hundred. Dollars. For flights they’ll probably end up canceling and rebooking anyway.

I don’t want to lose a hotel night and basically a whole vacation day just waiting for things to fall apart. This whole thing feels so backwards. You’d think airlines would want people to move earlier before a storm hits.

Budget airline or not, this is beyond frustrating.
