Had a pretty wild situation tonight flying ATL to Newark.
About an hour into the flight we had to turn around because NYC airspace was closed due to weather. We went back to Atlanta and once we landed they told everyone the next available Frontier flight wasn’t until Friday at 7 PM.
That’s almost two full days from now.
No hotels offered and no reimbursement if you book another airline. Basically they just expect everyone to figure it out themselves.
I get that weather happens, but a two day delay with no support is rough.
