Frontier promo email felt like a total trap

Frequent Frontier flyer here and I’m usually pretty careful with their fine print. Back in December I got an offer email, bought 4 round trip tickets for my family to Florida specifically to qualify.


Trip is done, so I contact customer service to check on the offer. They tell me it doesn’t count because I needed to make 2 separate bookings or journeys. Not once was that clear. The terms literally say tickets.


I argued for about 45 minutes and finally gave up. Just not worth the time or stress.


Anyone else get burned by this offer or something similar with Frontier promos?
