Frontier oversold our DEN to MCO flight and booted my coworker

Just had a rough one with Frontier. Flew Denver to Orlando with a work buddy and the flight was oversold. He got denied boarding, I didn’t only because I’ve got Elite Gold. Since Frontier doesn’t fly to Orlando later in the day, they basically refunded him and said good luck. No reaccommodation, no help, nothing.

He had to book a last minute United flight for 480, so an extra 280 out of pocket, and it went to a different airport. I ended up grabbing all the bags myself two golf bags and two suitcases because his luggage still flew without him.

Frontier didn’t ask for volunteers, didn’t try to compensate anyone, didn’t follow their own policies, and customer service was basically nonexistent. Honestly rethinking ever flying them again. Seats are cheap but uncomfortable, and the whole experience feels like a gamble.
