This is one of those situations that just escalates for no reason… passenger clearly needed the restroom, and instead of handling it calmly, the FA kept changing explanations and doubling down.
Saying it’s “illegal,” then saying the door is locked and can’t be opened… that part is just bizarre. Especially when another crew member comes over and fixes it in seconds.
That kind of behavior is what people remember way more than delays or anything else.
