They buy me anything up to $1,000 on any airline? If that's easy to use, it could be tempting. I'm flying in the winter and Frontier has only one flight that day, but if I end up needing same-day purchase on Delta or something, I bet my one-way SFO-SLC can cost me a lot. Heck, for $1,000 I can buy first class on Delta... I bet they don't allow that...?
Anyone have experience with this and know if it's ever smart?
