I applied for the Frontier Airlines credit card on March 31 using an inflight promo for the 55,000 miles offer. After applying, I received the usual “application under review” message (credit score around 750).
The next morning, I noticed I had missed a call with a very unclear voicemail and no usable callback number. Since I couldn’t reach them directly, I looked up Barclays and contacted their support.
At first, they asked for an application number, which I didn’t have, but after providing my personal details, they were able to locate my application. Turns out they needed to verify my identity via an outbound call. I stayed on one line while they called me on another number to complete verification, then resumed the original call.
In the end, I was approved with a $20,000 credit limit.
