Flying Frontier for the first time and the baggage examples are seriously stressing me out.
I paid for the economy bundle since I usually travel with a carry-on and a personal item and never have issues on other airlines. My carry-on is a small suitcase that fits overhead everywhere, and my personal item is a normal backpack that goes under the seat no problem.
But Frontier’s examples make it sound like a carry-on is basically a backpack and a personal item is a purse. Seeing “purse” next to 18 x 14 x 8 is wild. Now I’m paranoid I’m going to get flagged and charged even though my bags have flown a dozen times without issue.
Do their overhead bins or seats run smaller, or is this just Frontier being Frontier and trying to scare people into paying more?
Also open to any heads-up on surprise fees. Just learned printing a boarding pass at the airport is $25 which already feels ridiculous.
