Tucson finally gets a little more love from Frontier, and I’m here for it. Twice-weekly nonstops to DFW starting in October and intro fares at $49 not bad if you're flexible. This is actually their third new nonstop from TUS this year, which makes me wonder if Frontier sees something here the big guys don’t.
Between this and the $59 Denver route they added, it’s nice to see a few low-cost options from a city that’s usually stuck with connections. Still hoping they eventually launch something westbound Seattle? Bay Area? Anyone?. Also, that UpFront Plus seat thing sounds intriguing especially if they really do bring in first-class-style seating later this year.
