Flight 872 from Seoul to Seattle got cancelled due to a maintenance issue with a cargo door.
Honestly expected chaos, but Alaska handled it pretty well. They put everyone on buses, got us to a hotel for the night, covered the room and breakfast, and gave clear instructions in English and Korean.
Took an extra day, but we got rebooked on Korean Air direct to LAX, which actually worked out better since that was our final destination anyway.
Seats weren’t great compared to what we had, but overall not a bad outcome for a cancelled flight.
