I’ve got a free Emirates first class ticket for one segment after an involuntary downgrade on ATH to EWR. I really don’t want to fly that route again, so I’m trying to maximize this as much as possible.
It has to be a single segment only. No Australia or NZ, already tried. South America routes don’t seem to be allowed either, I wanted Brazil to Dubai but that was a no. I’m usually based in South America and honestly have no real desire to go to Dubai, but it looks like I may have to.
Ideally I’d love Asia. Japan, Bali, Thailand. From what I can tell, Dubai to Japan might be the only A380 option that works. If a trip needs more than one segment, I’ll probably do the other leg in business with points.
For those who know Emirates routes well, where would you burn this to get the longest and most over the top first class experience?
