Just flew Frankfurt → Dubai → Bangkok with Emirates and the trip was surprisingly normal despite all the recent news.
Check-in in Frankfurt opened about 4 hours before departure, no special procedures and no real queues. The Frankfurt to Dubai flight was very empty, maybe around 20% full, while the Dubai to Bangkok leg was closer to 80% full.
Both flights left with about 30–40 minutes delay, but arrival times weren’t too far off.
Dubai airport itself also felt pretty normal. Maybe a bit less crowded than usual, some seating areas were blocked, but shops were open and operations looked normal.
Service onboard was still excellent, no reduced service at all.
Original Krabi flights were cancelled twice earlier in the week, so the trip was rebooked to Bangkok instead. Customer service through the German Emirates hotline worked fine during the rebooking process.
