Just got back from a weekend at The Swag in Waynesville, NC and it honestly blew me away. I’d been craving a mountain escape where I could slow down, breathe in some crisp air, and not look at a screen and The Swag delivered on all fronts.
The property sits nearly a mile above sea level with panoramic views of the Smokies, and you can literally walk into the national park from your cabin. I joined a guided hike, did a wine tasting, and read by the fire in one of their cozy nooks. Meals were next-level and all included!, full of seasonal,
locally sourced dishes. I was there solo but saw couples everywhere it’s a perfect romantic getaway too.
Anyone else stayed at The Swag or have a favorite boutique mountain retreat for fall? Would love recommendations before the leaves peak!
