Ford just launched Ford Charge, a network of nearly 1,200 DC fast chargers across the US and Canada, and the best part is it’s open to all EVs, not just Fords. Over 320 dealerships are already providing access, with plans to expand further. Since it ties into the BlueOval Charge Network, drivers can use apps like FordPass or PlugShare to see real-time charger status, pricing, and plan routes.
I love this move because dealership chargers often sat underused, and now they can actually help fill the gap on road trips. I’ve had a few stressful stretches in my EV where I was hunting for a reliable fast charger, so having more options especially on highways is a big deal.
