I was reading an article where a flight attendant shared which foods are the absolute worst to bring on a flight and honestly, it makes a lot of sense. Smelly stuff like tuna, kimchi, or even too many hard-boiled eggs can make the whole cabin miserable. Messy foods like bone-in wings, peel-and-eat shrimp, or anything that spills easily are another no-go. The key takeaway? If it’s messy at home, it’ll be ten times worse on a cramped plane.
Personally, I usually stick to simple sandwiches, fruit, or nuts when I bring my own food onboard. That way I don’t feel like I’m that passenger everyone’s side-eyeing for stinking up the cabin. What about you guys do you pack your own meals when flying? And if so, what’s your go-to that’s airplane-friendly but not annoying for everyone else?
