I’m flying Aer Lingus from Manchester to the US and just realized my suitcase is 162cm total dimensions, while their limit is 158cm.
It’s only 4cm over, so I’m wondering if that’s usually fine? From what I’ve seen, it sounds like they care more about weight than a couple of centimeters, but I’m not sure how strict they are.
Has anyone flown with something slightly over the size limit and been okay?
