I am trying to understand how the Choice Benefits system works in the Flying Blue loyalty program.
From what I understand, when you reach 600 XP, you receive a bonus of 20 additional XP. However, there is also a rule that only up to 300 XP can be rolled over into the next qualification year.
My confusion is about how these two rules interact. If someone is already close to the rollover limit, does the extra 20 XP from the Choice Benefits essentially get wasted, or is it handled differently within the system?
I am trying to confirm whether I am misunderstanding the mechanics or if this is how the program is actually designed.
